Enterprise Award winner Tanawan Sukchaem receives her certifi cate from Principal Anne Isherwood
A packed audience in Bishop Auckland College’s sports hall saw the first combined annual awards presentation for all students at the College recently.
In previous years, separate events have been held for younger students and adult learners.
The College’s new Principal, Anne Isherwood, opened the proceedings by welcoming and introducing herself to the students, their families, friends and guests.
Anne said, “As it was the first awards evening I have attended at the College it was a special event for me. I thoroughly enjoyed joining in with everyone to celebrate the achievements and successes of all our students. Well done to the overall winners and to everyone who was nominated for an award“
Master of Ceremony for the evening was BBC Tees Presenter, John Foster who kept the event running smoothly.
Bishop Auckland College’s Music & Arts Festival favourites, Atlantic Soul Messengers performed before, during and after the event.
