Golf Club fundraiser

Bishop Auckland Golf Club is set to host a charity concert featuring The Baldy Holly Band on Friday 12th May from 7pm.

Founded and led by North East rock and roll singer Jamie Bell, the band has achieved global popularity and has performed to Buddy Holly and Ritchie Valens’ families as well as to Rock ‘n’ Roll fans all over the world.

The night has been organised to raise funds for the Lullaby Trust, which provides expert advice on safer sleep for babies and raises awareness of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

The ticket-only night will also include a raffle draw.

Tickets, costing £10, can be purchased from Jen Hall or the golf club on 01388 661618.
